SERP Features

SERP Features are any element on the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) that is not a standard organic blue link. These features include elements like Featured Snippets, Knowledge Panels, and, most recently, AI Overviews.

Why It Matters

Many of these richer results are powered by structured information databases. As AI search continues to evolve, optimizing for these high-visibility features is paramount because they often provide direct answers, leading to Zero-Click Searches.

How We Use It at Soprano

We audit SERPs to see which features are triggering for our clients' keywords. If we see a video pack, we produce video. If we see a definition snippet, we write a clear definition. We optimize for the feature that Google (and AI) has decided is most relevant for that query.
